Out of the blue the turn signals (both) stopped working. I checked the fuse but it is fine. The hazards work fine. I searched the forums but did not find an answer. Maybe I missed it.

I have looked under the dash to the right and to the left of the steering column for the turn signal flasher and cannot find it. Can anybody shed a bit of light on the where abouts of this elusive electronic worm? :icon_confused:

Every car has two flashers (it is a safety feature so that either your blinkers or hazard lights work when one flasher fails), so most likely it is one of your flashers that failed.
A couple of years ago I experinsed the same thing after I replaced a perfectly working switch lever assembly.

The flasher unit is a square yellow box and is located by the steering column. You just need to remove the panel that holds the hood release lever. I am not so sure about a second flasher, for the hazards. I do know the yellow one operates the turn signals, though.

Thx everyone for your input. I will post results as soon as I get my son back over here with his truck.
