Help is here @ TRS

This type of swap has been done many times. Take a look at the home page and find the Technical Section - read everything about the 4.0 engine. Also in the Tech section are wiring articles and much more valuable reading.

That has the potential to be a very nice and easy swap.

You're going to run into problems. There are many differences between 91-94 and 95-97' 4.0's. Mainly OBD-II and emissions. You are WAY better off using a 4.0 from a 95-up.

I may be wrong, but weren't the 4.0 from 91-94 the same, 95 &96, and then 97-2000? I am not sure about what would fit in what but it might be something to look into?
