I have just brought a 96 back to life i bought with a blown head gasket and numerous other problems. Im ready to get the AC working, i charged it with some freon with leak detect but i cannot find this leak, it takes about 2 weeks before it leaks out. What are some common leaks yall see on these trucks?

Welcome to TRS :)

Only hidden places are the condenser, in front of radiator, condenser is subject to highway debris like rocks, also its the highest pressure in the system

Or the evaporator inside the heater box on firewall

There is a drain hole in the bottom of the evap box. Feel with your hand to see if there is any oil down there. If you have a freon sniffer shove it in there. That's how I found out my evaporator was leaking.

Check the underside of your service caps, and with it charged drip some water on the valves, look for bubbles. Those valves are a common place for hard-to-find leaks.

I had a Liberty that drove me up a wall with a two-week leak like that once. It wasn't until I had the system under vacuum and had to move it that I found the problem. I pulled the service hoses of and the one valve dropped in.
