hey guys i have had a growling noise coming from the left side of the motor for a bit and i thought maybe it was just a bad pulley but after looking at it i dont see any pulley movement and i also noticed some oil leakage from the left side of the head too. please help thank you

When engine is cold loosen serpentine belt and start engine, cold engine can idle for a few minutes without water pump, then listen for the noise, much easier to pinpoint without fan noise.
If no noise then it is a pulley issue

As in loosen you mean take it off its got an auto tensioner on it. If not I do have a short belt u use when I had to bypass my power steering pump

Loosen as in it is not touching the crank pulley(drive pulley) so belt doesn't move.
Battery light will come on, as it should since alternator is not turning, nothing to worry about.

Oh okay not sure if the wife will give me time to do it today but I will be doing it this weekend and will keep you posted

You are welcome.

Remember only run engine for 2 or 3 minutes this way, without water pump turning coolant isn't circulating

Figured it out the other day my motor sounded like a diesel with the knocking it ended up being the bearing in my alternator was shot so it's all fixed now
