If I keep the wiring harness and the computer for the transmission I can use the transmission1994 Ranger/Explorer was last year using the 60-wire EEC-IV Computer(OBD1)
1995 Ranger/Explorer used the 104-wire EEC-V Computer(OBD2)
So Vehicle wiring was different
So clusters will be different, because they have "wiring"
Door panels might be the same, no "wiring", but Rangers and Explorers are not the same Model, just similar, and you can't use Explorer doors on Rangers and visa versa, they won't fit
1994 Ranger used an A4LD automatic(EEC-IV)
1995 Explorer used a 4R55E automatic(EEC-V)
These used different Computers to control shifting, so not a simple swap if you need to change computer and all the wiring
The 4.0l OHV engine was used in Rangers and Explorers from 1990-2000, the block and heads(engine) can be swapped, but the controls for the engine(on the upper and lower intake) must be swapped to match the year of the computer
