Been kinda slow progress, met a girl thats been taking all my time!!!!!! So hmmmmm, well did get front TTB all under it and front end on wheels yesterday. Wont take to long if I can just get motivated...

DAMN! Thats a nice clean body shop. I work in one, and there is no way to keep it that clean. I'm guessing the body side, and the paint side are cut off from one another.

No body shop and paint all same area, it is at a technical college and each class has to clean before class is over they keep it pretty good.

Luckily i have few connections there now and can use the shop on my stuff

Update from weekend started off a little sad cause didnt want any body lift, but bottom of cab wasnt coming close to clearing transfercase without hitting so thought was gonna have to run a 3in initially, got cab set down, but later did switch to a 2in but its gonna have to stay! O well, gonna be putting full cage in it. Most wiring completed cranks over just needs fuel tank hooked up and it will run.

I'd build a tunnel to clear the t-case before putting on a body lift..

For now Im gonna just stick with my 2in body lift, it will be ok. Im gonna use this also on trails get a set of 33in mud tires so a little extra clearance wont hurt anything.

Short course you want it low.. I'd do what aaron said or make custom body mounts since you'll have to do solid body mounts with a cage anyways

Updates:

Just ordered seats today: Corbeau Baja Ultra Wide suspension seats

Picked up Optima RedTop yesterday.

Metal for cage and front bumper ordered yesterday should be in at local company today to pick up. Cage will consist of 1.75x.120 HREW Round Tube, I cannot afford DOM and have researched and decided HREW will be good for me and way way better than nothing.

Next thursday were goona try to get rest of body prepped for painting and then the following week get the rest painted!!

Update this truck will get raced, and im aware its a little taller than Origianally wanted but the truck will also be getting used for trails and fast track mud racing since we have alot of that in my area also, prolly gonna get a set of skinney 33-10.50 Boggers for trail and the mud runs. I cant afford to have 2 trucks right now so one designed to be pretty good at all things I enjoy.

Thanks I love the orange also -it really jumps out! Will look good in about 2 weeks when 100% painted, also gonna tint the windows 5% and put some #'s on it maybe.
