Hi all.
I have searched the web, and this site and I can't find info on removing the door cards. I finished upholstering the headliner, thank you to the gentleman who wrote that article! Now on to the rotted out door upholstery. I know how to remove the door panel, but no info about removing the actual upholstered door card. (I hope I'm using the correct terms)
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

What year truck are you working on? I’m not clear on door card. Is it the interior door covering with the board covered by vinyl vs the plastic type door panel?

Sorry, I should have said. Its a '94 Ranger. I'm referring to the little upholstered panel part of the plastic door panel. I took some pictures. It is mounted with what looks like plastic tabs that are part of the panel itself, as can be seen in the pictures they all broke off. They looked like the tabs were pushed through the holes in the main door panel and then melted so that it looked like a rivet. I need to figure out how to remount it. Hopefully I don't have to screw it back on.

Sorry I have no practical experience on that piece. All my stuff is older. I’ve seen some interesting plastic welding set ups.

Search plastic welder.
