My credo
If you don't have time to do it right will you have time to do it over?
I replaced the manual steering box in my 93 2wd with a power unit to make driving with a 351 easier. The truck had dropped I beams. The manual pitman arm had a slight drop built into it and the power one is straight which puts the drag link closer to the front oil drain plug than I like on full right turns. Does anyone know if 2wd and 4wd pitman arm are shaped differently? If I could find an arm with even 1/2" drop it would fix the problem.

The 4WD arm has approx 2" more drop than a 2WD arm.

That's great, thanks. My 2wd arm is straight so a stock 4x4 arm might do what I need.
