91 V6 gauges in 93 I4 ranger

Hey every one I have been searching but have not come up with a clear cut answer for the pre 95 trucks. I picked up a gauge cluster from a 91 XLT with tach to replace my tach less 93 cluster with broken fuel gauge. Of course plugging the 91 XLT cluster into the 93 harness doesn't work because the pins are clearly diffrient for some functions. Any body have any experience doing this with pre 95 trucks?

For any one else trying this. The 91 cluster can be re pined to work however it is very labor intensive and requires a lot of research and diagram use. I ended up finding a 94 cluster for $50 and it worked instantly. This also fixed my fuel gauge issue and it's nice having the tach.
