Radio antenna R&R. I have done a search on this and didn't find anything.

It may be really easy or ....... Maybe not! But, I would like a little instruction before I go tearing into it. The last antenna I replaced was on a Mazda B2200 and you had to take the fender liner out and pull the bottom of the fender loose to get to it.

On the 91 Ranger, can it be changed removed and replaced without removing anything major?

Thanks, Ed

I am gatheriing that you want to remove the entire thing and not just the mast...I believe you have to go the route of the mazda...

Well here is the deal. The mast is loose. It just spins an will not get tight. So, I am guessing that something is stripped inside the mount the part the mast is installed in.

I do know that in the later model trucks you pop the cover and there are screws. My 74 Ranchero was the same. But, the 91 does not look like that.

So. . . .
