A full size Bronco? Sure, you could fabricate any leaf spring to make it work.

ohman im confused, so i just found out the 2 axles im getting friday are a dana 44 and a 9 inch, now i have been reading up on the 9 inch rear and im the most confused person on earth right now because of the gears. since the 9 inch rear end belonged to a truck with a bigger engine would it have smaller gears(larger numbers) or bigger gears(smaller numbers)?

It could be either way. If the original owner wanted the truck to do work, likely it would be 350's or 373 gears, or it could have had the 273's for highway...I'm on the hunt for a 9" with a Nodular section myself...

yea, i just read about those axles im hopping thats what this one is but i was reading and broncos come with 4:11 in the rear

kingreinheimer, you should start your own build thread so we can see what your up to and see the progress.

That's fine. That is what this thread is for.

where did you get that pitman arm at?

No idea. I do know I got it off the internet about 7 years. Could if been eBay, a forum member, or a company. I bought it to piece together a lift kit back when it still had the ttb d28.

do i need a ranger pitman arm or can i get for example an f150 or full sized bronco pitman arm

That would depend on where you mount your trackbar bracket. The trackbar and draglink should be parallel.

Should look close to this

oh and be sure to OVER BUILD the trac bar braket (if you plan on running it hard)
my original one started to tear off the frame (taking the frame with it) so i removed all of the bracket and plated the complete surrounding area with 1/4'' plate welded the perimiter and several plug welds and the steering box bolts go thru it aswell. havent had an issue since. however the front tires on my truck have been know to come off the ground.

one more question.....for now, would you guys happen to know if im going to have to move the mounts around or anything for my full sized dana 44 and 9", or can i just get coil buckets from a full sized bronco?

I'm not to sure on that one. My guess would be yes. You might have to look at other thread builds to get an answer.
