89 ranger SAS build

and also do you remember how you did the coil bucket, would i be able to just grab them off an old bronco or f150?

who and for how much does this person want to sell them for?

me and $80 plus shipping. probably around $25 shipping..
i bought them from escort when i was gonna sas my b2, but then decided to go the d35 ttb w/ xj coils. so i'm gonna sell them.. its the exact ones that were on this truck build :D

You will have to modify the top part where the small locating tabs are that fit inside the coil. All I did was cut or bend them flat to make the coil sit in there.
It might be easier to get the buckets from the Bronco or f150 then

I used Chevy 64" leafs for the rear. You will have to make something to hold the coils in place or they will pop out of the bucket. Most people used a ubolt.

now this may or may not be a stupid question but im confused and im having a brain fart. did you move the leaf mounts around? bc i measured my leaf mounts from eye to eye and i think it was around 50 some odd inches

Yes, the front hangers will need moved forward 6". There is a write up in the tech library. That might help you, there are a few pictures in there too.
The leaf swap might not be needed...what do you plan on doing with your truck?

i honestly am just trying to put dana 44s in my truck and lift it as high as your truck is....seems like its not to high and not too low and i want 35s

IF you want/need the flex, the 63" chevy rear leafs are the way to go..
the coils i'm trying sell are the EXACT ones off this build.. i bought them from him but now don't need them. i'm selling them for what i paid basically. i'll lose a little money.. but oh well.

i have a pic of them somewhere... nothing special. just coils in a box lol. they never even got took out of the box at my house, i was storing them in my shed waiting on my sas then decided not to do an sas so they are still stored in my shed in the same box he sent them to me in... lol. i'll find the pic or take more..

Paypal.

as far as the upper coil bucket, from what i could tell the newer f-150 bucket wouldnt work. may people hace made the older bronco/f-150 (pre80) fit. i originally used a stock ranger bucket with the modified tabs and a u-bolt. after many-a-lost springs i have decided to do somthing on the new project to permenantly correct the issue . I think it's gonna work perfect for what i'm using the truck for. check out the build and there are some pics posted of the revised coil bucket

i'll see if i can dig mine up, i paid like $28 for both towers-- shipped.

ford f250 tower.. part number E5TZ 18183A.

idk if thats what he had on this one or not, but it gives you the longer shock option
