any one ever have to order a new rear drive shaft for a 84 bronco II with 4 speed stick tranny 4x4 2.8? i was gonna order one from cardone, but they have 2 with duel u joints in the front as mine does but it also says:(Notes:{Rear; Spicer Design; Flange on BOTH Ends;) or,(Notes:{Rear; Spicer Design; Flange on ONE End )what are they talking about what flanges? The picture they show dont look any different ,any ideas ?:icon_twisted:

What they refer to by a flange is like how your drive shaft attaches to the differential. Without flange means it has a yoke end to attach to a u-joint. I've had 2 84 BIIs, both 4x4. One had a flat flange at the transfer case and rear diff and the other had a flange at the diff and a yoke at the transfer case. Looked just like the one on the front diff. Both looked factory but who knows? I assume since there are 2 kinds "shown" on their website there were 2 kinds installed and like I said, I've had 2 84s that had different drive shafts. Just look at what you have and order accordingly. Cheers!
