Well heres my 2000 ford ranger. Ive had it since 2006. Got a 5" RCD and 33s in 08. I figured its time for a change. This weekend I put a 3" body lift on and 35s w 20s. Tires are Mickey thompson MTZs and rims are 20x12 Moto Metal 962s. What do yall think.

Before pick with 33s

Now with 35s and 20s with 3" body lift added. Looks a lot bigger and better

nice truck but i think 20s are to much for a ranger

Everybody has their opinions. I personally like big rims with mud tires. 16-18s are too small for my liking on 35s.

Too much lift, not enough tire.

So a lot of people post up rangers with 4-5" lifts and 3" body lifts on 35s and everyone loves them. But when i post up pics, it gets all negative comments. Now I see why i dont post on these dumb forums anymore.

dont feel bad, its a great looking truck. just most of us on this forum are into the offroad action, that much rim is a no go when aired down. each of the ranger forums seems to have its own following.

the big rims make the tires look smaller. for a mall crawler its great, i myself like the look of the first set of rims more, i feel that they match the body lines more, also i dont think spoked rims look good on trucks.

if you swapped out the rims i think it would be perfect.

i think it looks cool...i like a smaller rim myself but think the truck looks really good!

I think part of what people are seeing is the angle off the pics along with the shadows makes it look like there is a HUGE gap between the tires and wheel arches. I suspect that this isn't really the case.

I like the way it looks. Thats what I am wanting to do to my truck 6in lift with 35s and 20s. The only thing I would do to your truck if I had it would be, swap the bed cover for a different bed cover that doesnt sit up so high and then I would take 1 or 2in of lift off the back

Sweet truck though. Dont let them get to you, its your ride not theirs and you just posted pics cause you are proud of your ride

I think it looked better with the 33s but that is just my opinion. Those wheels you have on it are not going to live long doing any serious off roading. You might as well paint mall crawler across the tail gate.
