8.8 swap in 93

sorry about another annoying thread but im trying not to waste my money. One guy told me all i had to do to swap my axle was flip my perches and get extended brake lines, and some others on here say new perches and alot of replacement hardware....anyone wanna lay it out there?

Ranger is a direct swap........

Explorer on the other hand, will get you 4" of drop, but if you want it to be under the springs as the Ranger is stock, then you have to move the spring perches.

You can look at my setup in my signature link or checkout my Rat Ranger build to see my altered Explorer suspension setup in a Ranger...

I will have a good writeup with pics posted in a couple days...keep an eye open in tech library submission section for it.

My 8.8 swap has cost about $200 so far and that did not include the axle or having a driveline built. It's an Explorer 8.8 with disks so yours may cost less if you have drums.
