Next thing on my list is figuring out what happens to my paychecks after i take them to the bank...

pffft, my last check didnt even make it to the bank...most of it went right to JEGS and my gas tank. i have like 200 bucks left for the next 2 weeks.

well ill start from the other day from when i got her on the engine stand:

cleaned some gunk(there was LOTS)

tomorrow im going to go talk to a guy about shaving my heads.

got her mostly tore down tonight, just gotta get teh heads off and send em out to get shaved down.

nah, im dead set on not pulling my heads lol......and im pretty posotive i can find a set around here if i really wanted to. plenty of big Block Fans in these parts.

you mean what happened as in why did i decide to do headwork?

its because i couldnt get a new car loan so i decided to throw my checks at the ranger rather than a loan payment.....

hmmm, may have to stick with the standard water pump....none of the electric ones that i can find have heater hose in/oulets. it gets too cold here to deal with that nonsense!

there is a place over in iron mountain/kingsford area that i have had do head's for me. they do pretty good work. it's northern somthing or other. in the basment of one of the part's chain's if my memory serve's me right. other than that carquest in marquette has a machine shop but i hear the machinist isnt veery good.

that's if your looking to keep the head's local

Why are you shaving your heads? D3s have huge chambers, so shaving them really won't net you a lot. Better off using that money to get your block decked. The end result will be a little more compression, but you can use a gasket to set your quench height then, which makes for a much nicer running engine.

BTW: I do have a set of D0VE-Cs still. You want more compression.. his is what you need. 75-77cc chambers.
