I have a F250 that the previous owner ran a bunch of lights and now the tail lights, just the regular running lights are not working... What has been done so far is:
Checked the fuses.
Checked the bulbs.
Replaced the headlight switch in the cab.

I also have traced back the wires as best I could, and see nothing wrong with them.. I am lost. Everything I have looked at online I have done. Is there anything I am not thinking of? Any help is appreciated...

I'd start by getting a wiring diagram. If you can't get one anywhere else, you can get service manual info from autozone by registering for a free account. It's not quite as complete as the factory service manual, but it's better than Chilton's or Haynes.

Check your ground wire/s , looks like the only thing you didn't address.

Thanks guys, I should be working this tomorrow... Wish me luck, I will keep up dating this for future use.

BTW the brake lights work and turn signals, and reverse lights as well.. It is just the running lights.

Just a quick up date, as it turns out the guy that wired these wheel well lights in was no where near an electrician. He had a mess of wires everywhere. turns out that all his grounding points where garbage. I basically re wired the entire thing. Now it looks great, some would say factory. The plus side is everything works as needed. FINALLY.
