I'm not trying to be a prick, I just would like to know about it and the why's and how's and whats next's of your truck and team before I give you money. I'd be more interested myself in donating to a cause with a good story and ambitions than to give you money so my picture can be taped on the side of a truck along with thousands of others resembling "where's waldo" game looking for me! haha, tell us how you came to be. What your goals are. All about your team and truck. Anything and everthing.

Also, since you are on a Ranger site, you might have some luck with parts donations (or big deals on parts) from other members who have stuff laying around. Since you are running a 2.9L, maybe if you get enough donated parts you'll be 3/4 of the way to a small block ranger for real high speed runs. Such as, I've got an extra set of 302 motor mounts for a Ranger laying around that I normally would just keep but if you're serious I'll send it your way for the price of shipping.

We are still working on our web pages and more updates are to come. Briefly thr Ranger was a very good Prerun/chase truck. Mainly we need to cage it and fix some small stuff (motor leaks, broken exhaust manifolds, etc.) and gather up some spare parts. We also need to update the belts and some other safety equipment. If we get enough help we may paint the truck. No the photos aren't going to be taped on, we plan to do at least a partial wrap. The class we are building for requires a max. 4.0 motor and at this point time and budget are indicating that a swap should probably wait. Thanks for you interest.

I thought about it maybe being a scam. I also know what it's like trying to race on next to no money. Everything I have done to my truck has been through hard work, scrimping and saving, and generally not spending money on other fun stuff like drinking with my friends. I feel where these guys are coming from and figured it was worth a shot so I sent $5.00. They responded right away expressing their thanks and I guess I'll see in the future whether they are real or not. I wish I'd have thought of the idea and though I don't think they will make lots from it, I wish them the best. They are trying to get many small sponsors rather than one big one, and I think it may be a lot easier to get a little money to help offset the costs of say; entry fees. They are not even going to come close to paying for the build of the truck with this idea, just look at the majority reaction!
Never mind that there is limited space on the truck. Actually, does anyone know how many square inches there is on an '91 ranger?
