For anyone in so cal. My truck will be on display at the off road expo this weekend in Pomona. I'm planning to run the red/blue strobe light all weekend. I hope to meet some new people and maybe ill pick up another sponsor this year from going.

That's for sure. It was funny to see which people liked my truck better and which liked my dads better and which completely looked over ours and looked at the bro trucks.

Well it looks like 1449 is getting retired as a race truck and will live the rest of its life as a Chase/play truck. I've decided to build another 1400 truck and run the entire 1400 series in More next year rather then continue beating up my truck. My truck is to heavy and has too many luxuries to be a fast competitive race truck so I'm building something lighter and faster.

2 months to turn this into a running truck. Should be a fun project. We have 3 motors and still haven't decided which one to do. My dads spare 4.3 V6 that's on crack, mild rebuild on the old 302 I took out of my truck when I got my new one or stock 351. they all bolt up to the same trans so we will probably just make it fit all of them.

Got the 302 in the truck and there is plenty of room for the 351 but we might have to do something different with the exhaust.

This truck was originally a 89 regular cab long bed, we will be throwing a 97 extra cab on this frame and leaving the stock wheel base so this is gonna end up with a pretty short bed.

Already got the front and rear fenders for the newer body style. I don't think the a pillar would line up right on a raingutter cab. This cage is pretty much the same as my dads so its gonna be fast and easy to copy.
