4X4 Ranger Edge Standard cab 4.0??

I'm not saying there's anything wrong with a 3.0 or an X-cab, so don't get me wrong guys, ok? It's just my personal preferences.. I need the 4.0 and will use every horse it can make.

Unfortunately I don't want to spend that kind of money. I mean buying a NEW truck. I'm looking to spend around the 10K mark or lower. Somewhere around there anyway. It's just the price range I'm trying to stick with.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE that Grabber Orange truck!

Everyone keep their eyes peeled for me for a truck that fits my desires, if you happen across one while looking around. If someone finds a truck that fits what I want exactly, and I go buy it, i'll pay a small finders fee. Don't be thinking it's big ol reward time, but I will Paypal someone some beer money..

We have a local car dealer......... used cars mostly.
He's a great guy, invited me to go to the auctions with him, and buy me dinner.
You just pick out a model, write down the specs, and he'll check for it at each auction he attends.
He doesn't charge, but it's an unspoken 3-500 dollar "tip" or else he won't help you next time. And because he gets such great prices, it is very worth it.

OK, so you specifically want an '01+ 4.0 4wd 5spd regular cab. Why an Edge?

Yep, but let's say 2000 or newer regular cab, 4.0 4x4, standard tranny, standard style bed, Edge model is a plus.. Lowest mileage possible, and all for the right price..

I do like hand crank windows, rubber floor covering, and sliding rear window as far as options go. Electric anything else is ok.

The Edge package just looks nice to me. Other than that I know nothing about it really.. It's just prefered, no necessary.

I'm leaving on the bike now to hit up some car lots about 30 miles off..

Well I've found a bunch of em. After DAYS of searching the net. I thought I had the perfect truck, but after getting down to brass tacks the salesman proceeds to tell me "I have to be honest Gerald, it does have a salvage title, because of minor water damage"

Shame too, because it was a 2005 Ranger Edge 4x4, 4.0 standard tranny, standard cab, and RED!!

Oh well, the hunt continues...

I'll keep looking. I've found a lot with every option I want except the 4.0L There are quite a few 3.0 standard cab/shift 4x4 Edge models available nationwide. I'll find one with the 4.0 eventually. I hope....
