I have a slightly modified 1992 4.0, bigger throttle body, injectors and MAF housing. I had the original setup working before it came out and went into the Bronco 2, so i used all my original parts. ECT sensor reads in range, as does TPS. Out of the 3 MAF's i have, my 5.0 MAF responds best to throttle(Which was the original MAF). It almost idles like it has a cam, but when i unplug the MAF, it idles like a dream. Since i swapped into a 85' B2 i have no Tachometer to tell yall what my idle RPM's are. If i could post a video, i have comparisons of the idle. Im sure RonD has probably solved this a few times but i cannot seem to find a forum that has this issue. Honestly its not a huge deal, but it does get a little annoying to have to keep it alive when cold starting. Runs and starts like a dream when warm. TIA

That tells me the problem is the MAF. When it's unhooked the PCM defaults to speed density programming and runs fine.
