ok i know it's probably what u thought it was gonna be so sorry for that, so to start, when im out in the woods and stop on a hill and try to get going again i have that dreaded role back that u can't help with a standard, and u gotta have that third leg which unfortunantly my third leg isn't long enough nor strong enough
. have heard of hand throttles, so i went and took the brake lever and cable and mounted it on the shifter, then ran the cable thru the firewall then up over the engine where the pedal cable attaches to the engine, then made my own mount to hold the casing from move in and out with the cable, then last but not least i took a pop rivet and took the nail peice out and put it on the cable and ran the other end back in to make a loop then crimpped it and put the loop around the cruise control and it works great can hit 55 with this set up
i wouldnt recommend using it on the road nor as a cruise control, it is used so u can start on steep inclines, keep rpm's up while using winch or oba, or when going over rocky roads so u dont keep hitting the gas over every bump causeing ur truck to jerk around. if anyone wants to do it i can post pics plus once u have all ur parts cut/right size it only takes 15 mines to complete and about 10 bucks
