well a little up date. i lenghtend the radius arms. but i dont like them im gunna make a new set. but these are good for now to finish the build. picked up the james duff coil plates. love them. i highly recommend them. but any way i buzzed up a crossmember. now i just have to mount my frame link mounts. and that should be good for the front end. i still have a few more inches to cut out of the arms then they will be good. but anyway heres some pics.

easiest way ive done radius arms is cittung a slit up the tube so it slides over the I shape of the stock arm. its hard to explain but if you looked at the arm from behind it would look like (I) then you get to weld far more and its stronger

exactly what im doin with the new ones lol . saw it when i was searching and found the pics after i made these

its been almost a year since i posted about the truck. or even worked on it. after a series of unfortunate events i finally have time to work on it again. so here is some progress on it and hopefully it will be done before winter.

the front axle in place and bolted in. just need to make a track bar and tighten up the steering.

rear drive shaft in. tank mounted for now. rear 8.8 in with 6 in rear springs and factory block.

I'd make that crossmember longer down the frame and gusset it to the actual piece holding the radius arms, if you hit something hard your liable to fold the front axle under the truck...

Thanks for the advice I was contemplating throwing some gussets on the crossmember. I have a few prices I'd like to reinforce before the finished product.
