hi, i can't determain whether or not 35s will break my front axle.??? I have a 93 ford ranger 4x4. had a 3.0, swap it for a 4.0. with 5 speed tranny. or am i better off sticking with the 33s

I know lots run 35s with the dana 35. Its plenty strong enough for most people.

Lots of people run 35"s on the D35, some run 37"s. Me, I couldn't make it hold up to my 31"s...

The D35 is not a fan of welded diffs on rocky trails....

36" tires here and locked up solid front and rear. I've broken 1 hub in 5 years.

thanks everyone for the info im sure ill have more qusetions very soon

He was referencing a stock ranger, has anyone thought to address clearance issues? He will need some kinda mild lift otherwise he'll rub like a biatch, and the chart reference in the tech library says the d35 is good for up to 35 inch tires, beyond that is taking your life into your own hands, not to mention your wheel bearings.

i was talking about stock axles and hubs. I already have thought about a lift thanks for the info though.
