Looks like the DPFE sensor. It senses how much flow is going through the EGR tube and feeds that info back to the PCM so it can properly control the EGR valve.

Never mind my last post. I didn't notice that it was a automatic transmission and that it's in a different location on my manual transmission. Regardless I believe there should be a sticker under the hood somewhere

BUT where do the vacuum line go Please
That part is the vacuum modulator. There are two vacuum lines that hook up to on the bottom part of the unit. My 94 3.0 5spd ranger that setup, and now my 97 3.0 5spd has it the same way.

On my 94 3.0 5spd, green truck..its in the side, much easier to access. On my 97 3.0 5spd silver truck, it was moved to the back and was a little more looking to find. When ford removed the distributor and out the coil pack on the side it moved that unit to the rear. I preferred it on the side, easier access.
