3.0 Head Compatibility

My 2000 Ranger with a 3.0 has blown a headgasket and possibly got a cracked head. Heads are in for testing.

If I need to replace a head, does anyone know what years are compatible?

I'm pretty sure they are completely "bolt on" all the way through the years.

In order to obtain an identical set though:

7/27/ of 1999 - 2003

and be sure if your truck is flex fuel, get heads meant for flex fuel.
