3.0 Engine Wiring Harness For 4.0 OHV

I cant find a engine wiring harness for my 98 Ranger 4.0 OHV Automatic trans. I did find one from a 3.0 from the same year. Will it work?

No it won’t, not without serious modification.

Dang. Thanks. I figured. I’ve heard Explorer or Mountaineers from the same year with the same specs might work? What are my options?

A junk yard like U-Pull-It will have one (eventually).

Thanks for the replies. I could not find this part ANYWHERE. Trick: go to eBay> look for used motor> find one that looks like it’s in a truck at a salvage yard> message seller and ask for part. It worked for me!
