I have a shorter compressor, it's only 110V and around 2hp, the Kobalt brand around 30 gallon I think, it's one of the ones with the hand truck tires on it, I made a pallet thing for it to sit in the corner, it doesn't move at all and has been where it is for almost 2 years and nothing is attached to the floor or walls
220 is easy although intimidating, I ran new wires to my garage a while ago and installed a new panel completely by myself in one weekend... including digging about 90' of trench by hand, but I only dug the trench about 1' deep and the ground was wet since it was in the fall, everything is in conduit and done much better than it was before (the old wire was buried 3" and just placed under the sidewalk before they poured it...).
