2021 Ford Ranger FX4 TRS-3 Project Build

Interesting. So the driver side axles are the same length but you need a shorter passenger side axle? I was looking at how the front diff mounts wondering if you could recenter it and split the .75" difference on each side.

I'm sure you could fab up something to replace the diff drop differently to recenter it but I wonder if that will effect the front driveshaft

The M210 with 4.70s… that’s a Sasquatch diff. That also doesn’t have the axle disconnect, that was an issue on the Bronco because it wouldn’t shift into 4wd when the computer didn’t sense it.

Hmmm I wonder how he got around it? He's being kinda sneaky about the whole thing. He runs a 4wd company in South Georgia. I'm thinking he's trying to keep all the details on the down low. Basically so people will have to bri.g it to him to get it done. He's basically just giving me info you can find online haha. But he's built some really nice Rangers and Broncos in the past few years. He also built some Toyota and Jeeps. But he's got a 22 Tremor Ranger so he was wanting to go 37s on. I'll bother him again tonight. See what I can pry out of him. He's more of a friend of a friend so maybe I can get Kaleb to get more out of him. But Kaleb drives a Bronco so he will know it for me hahaha

Over the past 20+ years I've seen people like that online that will tell you they did something, but don't want to share the information to help others. Those people annoy me.

4.70 seems to be pretty steep of a gear unless you are going pretty darn big on the tires. With the power that Ranger has, 3.73 seems to be a pretty good match. I could see changing to a 4.10 but 4.70? Highway driving is going to get thrown out the window or some sheet metal is going to need to be removed the fit a bigger tire to match.

The Bronco Sasquatch gets 35s and 4:70 gears. It doesn’t have an issue with highway driving.

I'm not sure how far you can adjust the tire size in Forscan but the tranny should adapt to the bigger tires, although it might never see 9th and 10th gears again with 37's and 3.73's.

Well, well, well....

I'll have to order one.

I hate when you go through the drive-thru and they forget to give you napkins, so I keep some spares in my glovebox.

I opened it up today and found shredded paper. It would appear that a mouse got into my glovebox. I think a mouse only needs an apening of about a dime to squeeze through, but what I want to know is where in the hell there's a dime size opening going into the cab of a 2021 Ranger??

Open the hood and look at the cowl. There’s a fresh air intake right above the glove box. That where they come in. My truck sits a lot and I have the same issue.
