2009 ranger 4.6 Swap? can it be done?

Hey guys just signed up today and here's my first post... So here's my question... I have a 2009 ranger xl 2wd with the 2.3L and auto tranny, would I be able to swap in a 4.6 out of another 2009 or newer ford vehicle like the crown vic or mustang? I'm located in California so I can't do a 5.0 swap any info is helpful guys! I appreciate it. Also could you get me in contact with someone who has done the swap?

And also would I be able to use the 6r80 tranny or would it be better to go with the 4r70?
