2007 Wiring diagram - lighting or DRL's

I have DRL's on my Ranger. Supposedly, it can only be deactivated thru the OBD system or with some expensive Ford computer. Well I was thinking that there needs to be a wire somewhere from a board or box where the system would tell the light to come on. Might be at the switch or relay box or something.
If some has (or can access) a wiring diagram I can study and use to experiment on my truck.
I did take it to my local dealer, but he was unable to find anyway to turn them off. ... and I was ready to pay them the $100 or whatever it was.

The DRL system should be able to be turned on and off through the programmable parameters in the personality section.

The exact directions, should you care to try and show up your local dealership techs, should be:

Toolbox, module reprogramming, programable parameters, personlity (or possibly lighting, depends on the year and car), daytime running lights.


I'm not sure about the later system, but I don't think you can kill the DRLs by physical alteration without disabling the headlights.

But Martin, then the BRAKE light comes on. I just don't want DRL's. I am smart enuff to know when to turn on my headlights.
Thanks ADSM. I will assume I need a Ford specific scanner tool & wouldn't be able to do that with my AutoXray scan tool thing.
