I have a slight vibe more noticable at 30-40mph on highway and @ 1500 rpm. Vibe doesn't reduce if I put it neutral from Drive on the highway and slow down makes no difference. I went under and checked the one piece driveshaft.(the one that has a splined rear slider and seal, and differential flange. No center bearing.) I can find no weights at all on the tube. All there is are three raised dimples about 3/4" apart and 1/16" high and arranged in a triangle. This is at the differential end of the tube itself approx 2" up from the weld of the tube and UV joint.
Are these whats's left of spot welding of the balance button? Tube is steel and rusted somewhat. I see no bare rectangular areas where a weight was attached either. I'm thinking of eventually doing the pipe clamp balancing routine to see if that works.
Thanks for the help.
