2006 Ranger FX4 Level II

Alright, so as much as I love the falkens, I got a killer deal on brand new hankook MT's. So I'm going to try them. The MT will be nice in the deep snow. The falkens had to work pretty hard in deep deep snow.

I also got them siped for better highway driving in winter.

5 of them. Ones hiding lol. Full size spare and will rotate all 5. So they should last a little longer that way to.

Getting them mounted this week hopefully.

And it's delicious with the right seasonings.

Spare tire is strapped and locked. Not that it really needs to be locked. Just peace of mind when I'm in the city.

Alright. So last Thursday my truck went into the body shop to have the hail damage fixed. I got them to paint the powerdome bulged part black. And I am in the middle of painting a new grill black.

Starting to look how I invisioned it. Custom bumpers are the next big item on the list.

Nice. I have always liked the look of a blacked out hood.

I almost threw the truck's hood on the BII this summer because I happened to have them both off at the same time.

thanks. yeah i always loved the look to. just put the last coat of paint on the grill. took the paint cap out to the truck and it actually matches up pretty good from what i can tell. so hopefully its not a huge difference in color. since the grill will just be spray bombed and the hood is a pro job.

either way, im happy. no more dents in the hood/roof. black hood for free (thanks insurance, and hail storm!) and i got my truck back. so no more driving a car lol. hate cars.

Eh, cars aren't so bad, if it's the right one. There are quite a few cars that I would drive, if I could find and afford one. The problem is they are all odd-ball or collector items, like Mustangs, Novas, Chevelles, Impalas, or Mavericks ( I used to see a really nice looking Maverick in Williamsport). I'd also rock the AMC Eagle wagon 4x4, or a Crown Vic Country Squire wagon, the one with the two Ranger-style jump seats in the back by the cargo area.
