So since I have a build thread going on a few other Ranger sites I thought I might as well bring my Mazda over here also!

It's an 06 B2300 with the 4 cylinder 2.3L, auto transmission, open diff with 4:10 gears. The truck came with basically no extra bells and whistles besides A/C(all that I need)

Here it is the day I bought it

That very next day I took off the cap(didn't think the mazda half step side style box looked good with it) and put on a tonneau cover from my dads ranger(he put a cap on his :p )

Next is the sound system which is not complete yet
Kenwood KDC-358U, Even just running off the 4 factory speakers sounds really good and can get VERY loud without distortion. The green matches at night

A Kicker 10" bassstation, defiantly won't rattle the cars next to you but overall I'm happy with it, 90% of the music i listen to is just rock so i don't need loads of bass. Only major downside to it is that I lost a lot of leg room

Last thing has been the tires, 30x9.5 BF Goodrich All Terrain T/A's, so far they have been have really good for me even in the snow without any weight in the bed, absolutely no rub for everyday driving and with my 4:10 gears I honestly haven't noticed a power difference, can still be civics in drag races :D

Dad's ranger

Not quite full flex but damn near close to it, tire was maybe half an inch from rubbing...needs a lift soon

I still have big plans for the truck

-2 inch lift, already got shackles(Belltech 6400's) but too cold to install them, and for the front I'm going to get longer coil springs, found some from "MaxTrac" that do a 2" for the 4 cylinder motor(anyone have any feedback on them?)
-Pro Comp Series 51 Rims, 15x8/3.75BS(if that will stick to far out let me know, kinda noob when it gets technical)
-Lock Right Locker
-New Rancho shocks to work with the lift
-Westin Safari light bar with some 6" lights
- Maybe the 60/40 seat mod
-Command Start
-Some kinda bed liner, just has a custom rubber mat as we speak
-Finish my audio setup
-New door speakers, probably JL, heard nothing but good from them
-2 channel amp for them
-Sound dampen the doors and maybe behind the sub, thing rattles the back center window piece like crazy

Basically just make this thing an awesome daily driver and a capable weekend warrior that can sorta keep up with all my buddies 4x4's

Any opinions or suggestions would be awesome!

So today I went to my Grandma and Grandpas for supper and because they're going on a trip in the next few days they decided I could have my gift early :D :D

I'll be buying speakers shortly

Merry Christmas!

I got to spend Christmas out offroading with my dad at seddons corner, so much fun with the snow and beautiful weather
Little loaded down with the Banshee

I'm a little jealous of my dads Ranger...

The two beasts, 2006 grizzly 660 and 2003 banshee

Finally got to wash it and get all that nasty salt off :)

So it snowed a lot last night! and what better way to spend a saturday morning then out in the snow blasting through snow drifts!

Kinda funny, while ripping around I was blasting snow right over the bumper and hood in really deep stuff with no problem, right after I got stuck on my flat driveway because of some ice under one tire and the tinniest rut....need a locker

Had an awesome yet very cold day out quading! 700+ pounds in the A** end and you could hardly tell it was there for power going up hills, plus it gave me the prerunner stance

I left the big quad for my dad, "Bertha" we call it weighs well over 800 pounds and was VERY tight in the Ranger box, with some hardcore sag going on

Found out the limits of a 2wd with an open diff today haha, I had just gone to canadian tire to pick up some "Traction Aid" things like this -

Right after I went to a parking lot that I knew hadn't been plowed yet to test them, long story short the snow got REALLY deep fast with tons of ruts and I got stuck. Oh and the traction aid plate thing is useless with an open diff, all it does it stop the tire from spinning that it's under, the other just blazes right up and you go nowhere! Lucky my buddy in his 4x4 Dakota showed up and towed me

Doesn't look to deep but at certain spots were well over half way up my tires and he made it look easy...defiantly need that locker already

My recent trip at Seddons Corner with my buddy, was really fun but short

Impressive for stock suspension I'd say

Not tuesday but still..

His rear left tire was completely off the ground...silly dodge can't out flex a Ranger!

These is where the trip kinda took a downfall...while stuck in the deep snow he managed to push snow up through the frame into the engine bay pushing the power steering line against the manifold melting it

We would have been nothing without a shovel and tow straps
You can faintly see me stuck out in the distance(only time I actually couldn't shovel my well out of and had to be towed)

And yesterday I ordered a pair of Pro Comp Series 51 15x8 (3.75 BS) glossy black wheels :yahoo:

Rims came in! Ordered them on Saturday afternoon at a local shop "Total Performance" and were in this morning!

Don't mind the really dirty truck

Very proud of the silver bullet right now! While I was out cruising with a friend I saw a suv that had slide up onto the curb and had the front end right over the snow bank and onto the sidewalk(about a 3ft snow bank). It was pretty obvious the guy just failed at drifting as you could see the marks through the snow, anyway I hooked on to that giant suburban and managed to pull him out with lots of little jerks(I don't have a hitch and was very scared of pulling from my bumper ball).
Silver Bullet power

And some photo whoring from washing the truck earlier

Coil spacers should be here anyday now, having some issues with ups and fat bobs...

Anyway! On sunday went off roading at seddons corner with a local group, BEST DAY EVER

Not stuck!

I was pretty disappointed I couldn't make it up the hill to actually see this Ranger

Kinda cool, after seddons meet up with an old friend, his truck is little more beast then mine

Finally got the spacers in! Sadly now I gotta wait till Saturday to get them and shackles on at my dads

But aren't they pretty ;)

Sometime Hopefully soon shocks will be next, all depends how it rides after it all gets installed, plus might take off the sway bar

Got my coil springs on! Couldn't get my shackles on though due to some seized bolts..but it sits basically dead level

while leaving the city my gf was driving behind me in her acura a little too close, I had to slam on my brakes to avoid hitting a biker that came off the sidewalk across the road, guess she wasn't paying attention because i got a little love tap, should be thankful I didn't get the hitch on this weekend

Not even a mark on the Bullet

Acura not so much, broke the grill, the acura emblem and left a few marks on her bumper, but in the end no one was hurt

Still had some fun doing a mini photoshoot after

Can't wait to get the back up higher

Nothing new to the truck...just wanted to bump it with some pictures :)

2wd Hill climb champ

Bone stock B2300...makes me so happy to see how far it's come since stock, super stoked for whenever i can get the shackles in the back
