its awesome!

though i would not have given up as much departure angle. and needs a drawer.

Looks pretty stout...

Any idea what it weighs?

and stake pockets.....and rails for tie down.

Looks great! I agree, you need tie downs of some sort. I would also recommend mud flaps for nothing else than preventing thrown rocks.

I plan on cutting leftover pieces of my 4 inch channel for tie downs but the only place around here that I can buy flat bar is closed. As soon as I can get flatbar I’m adding side rails and I plan to run wood sides also. I’m going to order a set of mudflaps here soon it’s really bad about throwing rocks.

Little here little there...

Then your building crane mounts.....boom poles...roll-up dumper....

I love it.

Nice! I'm building mine in the next couple weeks.

If you have any questions building yours let me know!
How much did the build cost? I'm on the fence about doing this to my 2007 fx4 level II.
Also how did you mount to frame? anymore pics would be super helpful!

I had around $450 in steel and I probably had $700-$800 in it total. Mine has pieces of 2 inch square tubing that sit on the frame and I just drilled holes to line up with the holes that your factory bed mounted to. I think I used 3/8 grade 8 bolts and haven’t had any issues yet

Nice!

you got any more pictures of the build? or the finished build from different angles? I didn't know the steel would cost that much. What thickness plate did you use? did you bend it all yourself?
Thanks for the help Josh!
