Dam what did you run into the death star!?:shok:

Did you check if the frame is straight. At first glance I would have written that one of as a total. Didn't look so bad though after you got that mangled fender off.

Yeah frame is strait. I did write it off at first but my dad started ripping into it and saw that it was just mostly sheet metal damage. At first we thought glance the frame looked bent because the bed had a lot bigger gap on that side compared to the other but pulled some measurements and it all check out. Plus we noticed the gap between the rear bumper and the bed was different side to side so that was the first clue that the bed moved and not the frame.

How can I tell what axle shaft I need. The code is r7 which is the 8.8 with 4:10 gears but the info I found shows a 28 spline or 36 I think.

It's 28 or 31, and since you don't have an Explorer or an FX4 Level II, you have a 28 spline.

I have a pair of axle shafts around.

Let me figure out shipping and I'll get you a number. Got a zip code?

Say about $35 shipped.

I'll have to pop another wheel stud in it and find a box it fits in.

Well you are posting of the damage so at least you are alive that's more important than the truck, but with some time, lots of work, and money it can be fixed. From the pictures it looks mainly sheet-metal, but be sure to check all your drive train components for damage as well, a hit like that can damage drive train mounting locations as well.

Glad you didnt get hurt in that, did your airbags deploy? I cant tell from the pics. Also If you havnt started it already, when you do and you dont hear the fuel pump or it dont start when you do try check your inertia switch, seems like it should have tripped on that bumpy ride.

Yeah me and my girl were in the truck and both walked away fine. Air bags didn't deploy and the truck stayed running surprisingly.
