2003 ranger rebuild after crash.

Yeah me and my girl were in the truck and both walked away fine. Air bags didn't deploy and the truck stayed running surprisingly.

Lucky! You guys should have left the truck in the ditch and hitched a ride to the nearest 7-11 and bought lottery tickets.

Haha that would have been nice. Lucky we didn't get hurt but bad day for me. Was my ex girls truck that I was/am trying to work things out with. She only had liability on it soooooooo I got out in the dog house on that one. Lol

My 97 I currently drive. Incase anybody cares. Lol

Glad you didnt get hurt in that, did your airbags deploy? I cant tell from the pics. Also If you havnt started it already, when you do and you dont hear the fuel pump or it dont start when you do try check your inertia switch, seems like it should have tripped on that bumpy ride.

Good to hear you're both O.K.! And no broken noses from airbags...sharp looking '97....

My wife's Explorer Sport went wheels up....the engine ran for 10 minutes after some bystanders got my wife out of it and realized it was still running (she put it in Park after it flipped but didn't turn the engine off :icon_rofl:!

She was only bruised/minor scratches from all the broken glass......but the Explorer engine seized......the Inertia Switch NEVER shut off the fuel!!!!!!

Thats scary that it kept running. I had a friend crash bad and it didnt turn off either. I disected the inertia switch and found the ball was slightly melted to the funnel, truck came up here from Arizona. Crazy she had her wits about her to even put it in park DG, glad she too was ok.

Your telling me. I'm from northern nh and have had to deal with it my whole life.

Damn. glad you two are ok. Looks like a lot of work, but definitely fixable.

Nice 97 by the way. You didn't date this girl just because she happened to have a n ewer green ranger than your green ranger did you :p

And when you say "me and my girl" are you talking about your daughter or a new girlfriend other than the ex? if it is a new girlfriend, that should really frost the Ex's cookies on top of breaking her truck

DG, it is weird how things go through your mind after an accident. putting the truck in park so it wouldn't roll away while it was upside down is one of those things... Glad she wasn't hurt either.
