I have a 2002 Ford Ranger with a 3.0 v6, auto trans, 2WD. I put a 3.0 engine and trans out of a 1999 Ranger in it.
Here's whats going on with it, I turn the key on and all the dash lights come on and the door beeps like it should, But it doesnt turn over. No clicks. I dont hear the fuel pump or anything. ive tried two different batteries with a jumper box, jumper cables and a battery charger on it and still doesnt turn over. I have the starter checked out and its good.
Im using the 2002 ranger vehicle harness that plugs into the firewall. And im using the 1999 engine harness which plugs right into the 2002 vehicle side of the harness. I did have to replace the harness that comes off the starter from the 1999 one to a 2002 to it would bolt up the the relay box correctly.
I have been trying to get this thing running for weeks now and i've run out of idea's. I'm so extremely frustrated and I have run out of patience. If someone could please just help me out i would really appreciate it.
