2001 Explorer Sport cluster in a 1996 Ranger

I searched The forum to find the answer to my question but have found nothing definitive. Here’s what I’ve got: I swapped in the cluster, re-pinned to get the CEL and Door Ajar lights to work correctly. What I noticed was the 96 has Fuel Reset and Check Fuel Cap lights on the back of the cluster whereas the 2001 only has the Check Fuel Cap light. The 96 diagram only shows the Fuel Reset light. I know it’s probably not a big deal but I’d like to figure out how to wire the 2001 cluster to get this check fuel cap light to work. I have loosened the fuel cap just to see if it would come on and also change the bulb but that didn’t work.

In the 2001 explorer the fuel cap light got it's signal from the engine PCM.

Do you have a PCM pinout for a 96 2.3? mine doesnt show a fuel cap light but I have one on the cluster.
