Forgive me. I'm new to this ford world. I still have my 3 cj7's tho....
I picked up a clean 2000 2wd ranger supercab with the flareside.
It needs tires and I wish to lift it to slide 31's under it.
(limited slip and 3.74:1 gears being installed now)
1.5 - 2 inches at most. I've been searching these forums and
others and really have not seen a definitive answer for this other than
the foztech (sp) upper a-arm replacement and rear add-a-leaf method.
(can I slide my extra model 20 under this puppy?)
I'd prefer a coil spring spacer ala the earlier pre 97 models.
Is there a replacement coil that may give me the rise?
(What is a levelizing coil? I'm new to coil springs...jeeps do leafs)
The rear seems simple to me. Either a block, rearch, shackles, or add-a-leaf.
Just like a jeep, easy.
Gotta like the Ford though! The S10 I had long ago almost killed me!
Thanks,
Mark:icon_confused:
