So I'm going to be pulling the motor on my ranger for the first time tomorrow by myself so I'm looking for any advice anyone can give to help me not mess this up! I'm pulling it to replace engine mounts, torque converter, and rear main seal. Any advice for reinstall would be much appreciated too.

Thanks yall

Get some masking tape and a magic marker. Where ever you start taking things loose, take a piece of masking tape and call that #1. If it's not obvious where it goes, put a #1 on the piece and the place where it goes. Next thing you take off, masking tape and #2 and so on. When I did my last engine, I was up #50 or so. Each wire, hose, anything like that.

Then when you re-install the engine, start at the highest number and work your way down. The problem is not so much where things go, but forgetting to hook things up. Counting down helps eliminate that problem.
