Hey yall, I have a 1986 Ranger 2.9L. My power steering pump has a weird feature where there's a metal circle around one of the power steering pump lines.
I'm just wondering if there's a special tool for this, or if I'll have to dremel this circle around the line. I don't know if any of you have had issues with something like this, or if this is normal. A lot on this truck has been replaced, so I'm not sure if this is an aftermarket steering column.
I absolutely can't fit a socket or a wrench around this due to the raised circle, just checking if there's a weird tool I need to look for, especially since there's a weird tool for the water pump, which I am also doing right now.
