2.9 engine miss?

I'm havin the same prob. I have no cats on mine and the O2 sensor is not hooked up. Mine bogs down occasionally and getting crappy mileage. I'm plannin a tune up this weekend weather permitting. Do u have any hair left after this ordeal?

BTW if u have an extra handle for the rear hatch I sure could use one!:)

just got rid of the hatch 3 weeks ago. Handle on it was great. Should have put it on mine.....Got rid of the doors, hood and fenders too.

I do still have hair left. Learned quite a bit about the BII through all this. I saw that thread, but that seems be a different problem than what mine is doing. Now, other than the "miss" under load and no power, everything else is running great. Gonna clear the PCM here in a little bit and then run it and test for codes again. Should know a bit more in the next 2-3 hours.

Those handles are 40 bucks from lmc. I'm hopin to find someone that has one on here and sell it cheap.

Just the Handle?? holy ..... I should go down to the JY and pick a few up and re-sell them...

Go for it. There was at least one other guy on the want to buy section that was lookin for one.

Huh. How much of the handle do you need? (never taken one apart - not sure what is involved in what you want.)

So I went out and unhooked the battery for about a half hour. Hooked it back up and warmed it up for about twenty minutes. Idled great. Turned it off and started checking codes. KOEO - 11. GREAT! no problems there. KOER - only a 25 (didn't test knock sensor) GREAT!!! so far so good. Tried the vacuum test again to see if there appears to be any back-pressure building up. Looked GREAT! So, I will test again after actually taking it out on the road and see if anything pops up.

I'd like to spend bout twenty bucks including shipping. It comes off w a 9 mm socket and extension on the drivers side and a 1/4 ratchet and 9 mm socket on the passenger side. Its not hard to get off, It comes right out.

OK. Test drive done. Test results as follows (active / memory):
KOEO = 67 / 33

1st KOER = 12, 21, 25 / no memory

2nd KOER = 21, 25 / no memory (I don't know how this can be, where did the 12 go?

so....1. brand new EGR is buzzing and throwing intermittent memory codes. Is it Bad??
2. The Engine Coolant Temp sensor that ohmed good is bad (out of range).
Engine is running pretty good. Lack of power and stumbles here and there. Would both the 21 and 33 codes account for this behavior?

I don't know whats up with the 67 code. Maybe I touched something I wasn't supposed to touch (brake, clutch, etc...)?
