is it possible to turn the 2.5l diesel engine in to the turbo version they do
The engine is in a 1999 ranger
The 2.5 l engine derives from the 2.3 engine
The 2.5 engine comes in a turbo and none turbo state
Both 2.5 engines are pretty much the same in the sence they have the same forged internals
My question is what would be needed to turbo the none turbo model
I'm thinking turbo, manifold, intercooler, catch can and oil cooler
What I'm unsure about is do I have to have anything like a ecu for the turbo or along the lines of that
