1st time V8 swap

This is the first time I’m doing a motor swap of any kind so I’ll need all of the help I can get. Currently I have a 97 ranger 2wd with a 4 banger and a 5 speed manual transmission. I would like to swap it out with a 302 or a 351W and I want to do it the right way. I want to keep it a manual and 2wd if possible. Any information helps!

Find a wrecked 96-99 explorer

Yank the 302 out with all the accessories and wiring

Get a 5 speed from a 97 up f150 with the 4.2 engine

Mate them together

Do burnouts!
