Hello All,
This is my first post so please be gentle.
I have 1999 Ranger 2.5L 4Cylinder, New wires, plugs, new battery, no vacuum leaks, new fuel pump, it runs great.
The problem is it will fire up. Die. Then it has trouble starting again especially when it's been driven. I took it to a local repair place and one guy said it was the ignition module (which trough my research looks like this truck doesn't have one) he also mentioned something about it being $400ish, he described it as a two sided unit (plug on each side) and said the exhaust side usually goes bad.
The problem is driving me crazy any help would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers
