1999 for ranger 2wd 2.5 manual to v8 swap what do i need and tips

Hey guys irish_ here new to this forum and I'm hoping that maybe yall could shed some light on the topic for me I have a 99 2.5l manual ranger that I want to swap to a v8 I was wonder what should be my donor vehicle and what am I going to need from it and how exactly I should go about doing it I really love my truck just wish it had more power I look foward to hearing from you guys and learning from you thanks talk to yall soon
