I started with a 1995 ford ranger 2wd

here are the mods.. still needs the finishing touches

1977 bronco front axle:
4.88 gears
Yukon zip locker (air)
warn premium hubs
custom long are with currie enterprises johnny joints

rear axle:
out of a 1998 explorer (disc brake)
4.88 gears
arb air locker
custom forged axles made by Dutchman axles

shocks 14" bilstein 5125 front
12" bilstein 5125 back
front shock towers are early f150
arb compressor

fab work:
custom front spring perches
5/16 bellypan kinda overkill but badass

for the rear suspension I made my own leafs out of ranger/ explorer packs
I dropped down the front brackets 2.5"
for the rear brackets I made them adjustable

made my own stronger 1 piece driveshaft

for tires I have goodyear wrangler 35x12.5 with Kevlar

here are the pics

Looks good, you might want to add some limit straps, your coils are coming out of the buckets at the frame. Any future mods planned?

SVT

Those coil buckets are designed to do that. That's why there is the tubing in the middle

future mods I would like to make front and rear tube bumpers and I plan to attach the bumpers to the rock sliders. put tube around the fenders. hoping to do a doubler too... haven't look too far into that tho

kinda want to add a sway bar for a daily driver... any ideas ?

look at escourtgt's build he has a stock ranger one he made work

Nice truck. Did you make that front diff cover? How does she handle on the road now? without a sway bar?

yeah I made the diff cover myself. it handles ok on the road without the sway bar. I can do without it for now but I would like to have one in the future. cant go around corners too fast but that's to be expected

I went wheelin last week up by stave lake with some friends and I broke a stock front axle haha... needless to say my rcv's are on there way!

Return the RCV's, upgrade to 60's...lol

SVT

Hella nice truck Boneshaker, Stave Lake?

yeah, stave is in port moody(lowermainland) cant wait to try it out this summer up in the interior.
the truck without a sway bar is pretty sketchy sometime. im going to buy an antirock kit I think pretty soon. I cant find any stock ones that will work with my setup

Nice set up man I was gunna go with the single radius arm set up on my exploder but ended up using early bronco arms

Stave?! :0 I live in the wack. We should meet up sometime....
