Hey All-
I swapped in a 1994 4.0 in my 1986 Ranger, along with the manual tranny and t-case...
I installed a new slave cylinder and master cylinder. I have bench bled (ford specific) and used the mity vac bleeder to remove all the air and play in the clutch master cylinder. And when I hooked it up and bled the remaining slave cylinder, I still cant get the tranny into gear when I push the clutch in. What am I missing?
I've ran quarts, yes, quarts of fluid through the system witch no change. There is a viewing window on the drivers side of the tranny and when I my son pushes on the clutch, it appears to move the clutch about an 1/8" of an inch. How much is it supposed to move? What am I doing wrong?
