1994 4.0 to 1997 3.0 body. engine and transmission swap. Need help with wiring harness putting a obd1 engine into a obd2 body.

we need help figuring out how to get the 4.0 1994 ranger engine that is obd1 60-pin EEC-IV system, while the 1997 Ranger body relies on the 104-pin EEC-V OBD-II system, we have the the mechanical parts working we can get it to turn over and fire but we can’t figure out how to get the fuel pump to kick on
